| Function | Anti-viral effect The results of the study on the effect of Organic Astragalus Extract astragaloside on HBV-infected hepatocellular carcinoma cells showed that astragaloside had a good resistance to hepatitis B virus solution. Astragaloside has anti-adenoviral effect in human adenovirus type 3 (HADV-3) infected A549 cells. Hypoglycemic and improve insulin resistance activity Organic Astragalus Extract Astragaloside has hypoglycemic effects by inhibiting hepatic glycogen phosphorylase and glucose-6-phosphatase activities and improving insulin tolerance. Also, Astragaloside has good effects on diabetic complications. Reports show that Astragaloside can lower blood glucose levels, reduce urinary protein efflux, improve the adhesion function of foot cells, and delay the development of diabetic nephropathy. Other effects Astragaloside has certain inhibitory effects on lung cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer and stomach cancer in vitro.
