Introduction of Instant Hojicha Tea Powder
Hojicha Tea is made by frying the tea leaves to a brown color. The frying aroma of Hojicha Tea is its biggest attraction.
Hojicha Tea is also known as tea making (fried tea) which is the ancient tea making technique of roasting tea with warm fire. The purpose of roasting tea is to remove the moisture from the tea leaves again for better preservation and storage. This is the scientific tea making method that the ancients used to store and roast, and both store and cultivate. Hojicha Tea is steamed green tea roasted to a unique taste, fire fragrance, and has the effect of removing grease.
The theoretical basis of Hojicha Tea roasting, depending on the amino acids, monosaccharides and disaccharides in the composition of tea leaves, the enzymatic reaction phenomenon produced in the process of fire. The roasting of tea leaves depends on the moisture, pectin and weight of the tea leaves, and through the interaction of wind, fire and time of the roasting apparatus, the enzymatic reaction is sought and controlled to the desired color, aroma and taste. Catechins and polyphenols change less below 100 degrees Celsius, when above 120 degrees Celsius catechins will decrease with the rise of temperature and time, polyphenols on the contrary, but its content will decrease again when it is about 160 degrees Celsius. The content of coffee shout will rise due to the rise in temperature, so the more the tea leaves are roasted, the more bitter they become. The free amino acid content starts to drop when the aroma evaporates, and the reducing sugar produces enzymatic reaction at high temperature to produce roasted aroma, which is better than fried rice aroma. Under the high temperature, catechins are converted to tannins and then to caffeine, so that the bitter ingredients are converted to caramel bonds. Roasting leads to the coalescence of the inner substances of the tea leaves, which can brew more substances before roasting when brewing the tea.

Q2: What's the extract solvent used in the procedure?
A: The extract solvent is always depending on the active ingredient in the raw material, regulation and customers' requirement. The solvents mostly used for extraction are water and ethanol. Even the solvent other than water used in the procedure, the solvent residue in the extract product also can conform with ICH Q3CR5.
Q3: Is there any other ingredient used in the product?
A: It depends. For product which is hard to be dried, we need to add some maltodextrin into the extraction solution before drying. The maltodextrin we used is food-class carrier, from non-GMO corn. We can share customer with the ingredient composition table.
Q4: How to make sure the quality of the product?
A: Firstly, every batch finish product must be tested and qualified before delivery. We can send a specification sheet or CoA for confirmation. The HPLC chromatography graph also can be provided. Secondly, we can provide pre-ship sample to customer for quality confirmation.

A: For most of the products we already have in stock, the MOQ is 1kg. If the product is a new specification and need to be produced from raw material, the MOQ depends.

A: For most products, the product can be sent out from factory in 5days. If we don't have inventory, the product need to produced from raw material, the ordinary period is 20-25days.
