Lycium barbarum L. is the fruit of Lycium barbarum L. of Ningxia, family Solanaceae. Harvesting in summer and autumn when the fruit is orange-red, drying until the skin is wrinkled, and then exposed to the sun until the outer skin is dry and hard, the flesh is soft, remove the fruit pedicel. Function of Goji Berry Extract

Goji Berry Extract increased the expression of IL-2 and TNF in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells, and both mRNA and protein levels were dose-related to Goji Berry Extract, indicating its immune enhancing and potential anti-tumor effects. LBP Goji Berry Extract inhibited the growth of transplanted S180 sarcoma, increased phagocytosis of macrophages, proliferation of splenic macrophages and antibody secretion from splenocytes, viability of damaged T macrophages, expression of IL2 mRNA and decreased lipid peroxidation.
